Network Design Engineer

📍 Location: Basingstoke (On-site, occasional travel required)
💰 Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
🔐 Must be eligible for High-Level Security Clearance

What You'll Be Doing:

🔹 Designing high-quality network solutions, producing structured documentation, and ensuring seamless implementation.
🔹 Creating high-level and low-level design artefacts to meet customer requirements.
🔹 Automating network configurations and software deployments where possible.
🔹 Providing 4th Line Support, liaising directly with vendors to ensure successful issue resolution.
🔹 Contributing to the development and maintenance of secure infrastructure solutions.

What We're Looking For:

✅ Strong experience in network solution design and documentation.
✅ Deep knowledge of OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP routing protocols.
✅ Expertise in NAT, GRE Tunnelling, DMVPN, Subnetting & Supernetting.
✅ Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching appliances.
✅ Experience in impact assessments and working on secure infrastructure.
✅ Ability to automate network deployment and configuration.
✅ Advantageous experience with Juniper SRX, Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco ASA, and McAfee MFE.
✅ Candidates must be eligible to undergo and obtain high-level security clearance.
