Allison, tell us something about your career journey to-date.

My journey is somewhat different from others within CBSbutler. Most of my recruitment experience of 25 years+ has been within the world of operations, legal and compliance.  During that time, I have worked with some fabulous people across 2 global recruitment businesses and more recently with CBSbutler, who I first joined in 2016.

Around two and a half years ago I identified a gap in our company’s service offerings following increased demand from customers who were seeking business support professionals across areas such as finance, marketing, HR, procurement and administration. Leaving a career that I had built within Operations and Compliance was a huge leap of faith for me but one that has become particularly rewarding.  

I was curious and enthusiastic about  the opportunity to create something from the ground up and more importantly, I received the trust, tools and resources to help me realise those ambitions. I have mapped an incredibly rewarding career path through recruitment and management and so the message really is that if you are seeking advancement and you want to evolve your career, enabled by expertise around you, CBSbutler will give you that and more. 

How big is your team?

The team is small right now but we are looking to build out our specialisms within the disciplines we service, so growing our team is a real priority for us. We are looking to bring in specialists from either the recruitment industry or SME’s from different sectors who  can bring a different perspective and a breadth of knowledge about their industries. We like to set our bar high in everything we do with uncompromising standards, ensuring that the clients we serve and the candidates we represent have an impactful and memorable experience working with us.
